Commercial Project: East London Apartments

A flagship collection of unique warehouse style apartments.

We worked with a prominent London property developer to design and install a cost-effective yet feature-rich audio system for their new development. The initial project - The Bagel Factory - was so successful we were asked to replicate the installation across the properties on the developer's next project - The Old Smokehouse.

The client’s brief was simple – deliver a feature-rich audio system, in 2 rooms of each plot, on a modest budget.

In collaboration with the developer, we designed an integrated audio system that features in the majority of the apartments.

The client’s brief was met using Sonos. App control, integration of all major streaming services, ability to add TV audio and user-friendly updates all come as standard.

Sonos amplifiers ticked all the boxes, partnered with Russound contractor series in-ceiling speakers. All speakers were fitted with fire-rated acoustic hoods to meet the building regs.

We supplied a simple user guide to each plot. Upon completion of sale, the owners simply activated the broadband, downloaded the Sonos app, and press play!

We delivered the systems on time and on budget, well within the given schedule which also included a fully functional show flat complete with Spotify playlists running for 8 hours a day. All fully automated, of course.

For increased cost-effectiveness across the development, we simply copied & pasted the design and installation procedures and delivered the same specification at The Old Smokehouse.

This saved the developer time and money as the main contractor, electricians and ultimately the sales team knew exactly what was being installed based on their previous experience.
