Grade II listed luxury private residence, Hertfordshire.
A great example of how we develop relationships over time with our clients to keep their systems functioning and provide upgrades when required. We get to know both our clients and their properties very well, so we can give the best possible advice and service. We installed state of the art AV, and fast, secure WiFi in this stunning rural Grade II listed property.
To install and maintain fast, secure WiFi in a large property and 4 outbuildings, spread out over several acres in a rural orchard.
To install a multiroom AV system, featuring large format TV’s and Artcoustic speakers all main rooms and bedrooms.
To service and maintain the systems utilising remote access procedures wherever possible.
An impressive property at 2,300 Sqm, comprised of the main house, and several outbuildings including a cinema in a converted stable.
We first installed systems in the property back in 2014 and since then we’ve worked closely with the new owners, adding additional TV and music rooms.
The client required fast, secure WiFi everywhere – which is no mean feat considering the size and scope of the property. The brief also included intuitive control of all TV’s and Sky boxes using a single remote control from Control4.
As an audio fan with a keen eye for design, the client has opted for Artcoustic speakers throughout, and he continues to expand the system with a planned upgrade to the cinema room in April 2022.
The current modest 3.1 speaker set-up will be expanded to a Dolby Atmos 5.2.4 array. (5 surround speakers, 2 subwoofers and 4 in-ceiling speakers as the height channels). A 100” TV adds the finishing touch to the AV system.
As well as a demanding brief for WiFi, the network infrastructure also manages 4K video from 16 CCTV cameras dotted around the property, all accessible via the app from anywhere in the world.
Furthermore, through the use of Control4’s remote access platform OvrC, we can remotely view, diagnose and maintain 90% of the hardware at the house, thus removing the need for service visits and usually catching and repairing an issue before the client notices it.
